The Łódź Special Economic Zone covers an area of 1339 ha  and includes  Łódż Voivodeship, the east part of  Wielkopolske Voivodeship and the west part of  Mazowieckie Voivodeship. The zone is  well located and connected in the centre of Poland. It offers attractive industrial areas. Large selection of the investment plots, tax and professional support related  to public aid for investment makes  Łódz  Special Economic Zone  the ideal area  for investment.

The Kleszczów subzone


The Kleszczów Subzone is one of the 44 sub-zones belonging to  Łódź Special Economic Zone and covers  8 ha.  Thie Subzone is the separate area where investors can start  their business on preferential terms and  use  public aid.

In the  zone have invested:
EUROMETAL S.A. –  aluminium industry  SPONCEL Sp. z o.o. –  manufacture of cellulose sponge, EPICOM Sp. z o.o. – manufacture of hygiene products.

Investors who want to start their business within  Łódź SEZ can benefit from  regional aid for  new investment  in the form of  incom tax exemption  on legal persons or natural persons. The condition, to take  advantages of  the tax exemption is to get the permit to operate  business in the Zone. This permit  grants  manager of  Łódź SEZ  on behalf of the Ministry of  Economy .

new jobs

Investors can  choose which kind of this aid  they  use. The support is granted until the full amount of  the public aid but no  longer than the end of  the activity of the zone (at present until the end of  2026 ).

 Types of  new investments:

-  setting up  new company

-  increase of production capacity of  existing enterprise, diversification of  campany production

-  introduction of new products previously not produced at  companies

-  substantial change of  overall production process of  existing companies

 - acquisition of assets belonging to  company which had been closed or would be closed if  purchase did not take place
